Summary

Recurrent implantation failure (RIF) in assisted reproductive technology (ART) may be predicted by lower levels of matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in peripheral blood. These biomarkers could help identify patients at risk for RIF.
