Calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinases can regulate the TSH expression in the rat pituitary

Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) activates calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinases (CaMKs) in rat pituitary cells. These kinases phosphorylate CREB, increasing thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) production.
