Chronic CT features in PE patients with co-existing DVT

Patients with pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) present with more severe clinical features than those with isolated PE. Central PE is more common in patients with DVT, but many central PEs occur without lower extremity DVT.
