hiphop: Improved paternity assignment among close relatives using a simple exclusion method for biallelic markers

Parentage assignment in complex social systems is now more accurate using the homozygote opposite test (hot) and Homozygous Identical Parents, Heterozygous Offspring are Precluded (hiphop) methods with single nucleotide polymorphic markers (SNPs). This approach improves accuracy in identifying sires, even with relatives present.
