Persistent chronic respiratory symptoms despite TB cure is poorly correlated with lung function

Many tuberculosis survivors experience persistent respiratory symptoms and lung function deficits. This study reveals a significant burden of post-TB lung disease (PTLD) with poor correlation between symptoms and objective measures.
