Physiological skin FDG uptake: A quantitative and regional distribution assessment using PET/MRI

This study shows that F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in skin is repeatable using PET/MRI. Physiological skin FDG uptake varies by age and sex, being highest in the face.
