Summary

This case study highlights a rare COVID-19 complication: radiology-proven labyrinthitis. An elderly man with acute vertigo and hearing loss was diagnosed with labyrinthitis, later confirmed as SARS-CoV-2 related.

  • A case report of an 84-year-old male with acute vomiting, vertigo, and sensorineural hearing loss.
  • Diagnostic workup included blood tests, cerebral MRI, and nasopharyngeal swab for SARS-CoV-2.
