Dithiin diisoimides: Synthesis and their antimicrobial studies

Sixteen novel dithiin diisoimide derivatives were synthesized and tested for antimicrobial properties. Compound 2d demonstrated significant antibacterial activity against Acinetobacter, showing potential for treating infections.

- Compound 2d is identified as a lead compound for further development in treating Acinetobacter infections.
