1Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02138, United States.
Abstract:
Triflyl nitrate is easily generated from tetra-n-butylammonium nitrate in CH2Cl2 solution and serves as an effective nitrating agent for a wide range of unsaturated substrates to form nitro olefins.
