Neonatal SARS-CoV-2 Infections in Breastfeeding Mothers

Newborns born to mothers with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) were not infected, even when fed breast milk. Breastfeeding is safe for infants whose mothers have SARS-CoV-2, provided precautions are taken.
