The 3D Navigo™ system enables feasible and safe prostate targeted biopsies (TB), detecting clinically significant prostate cancer (CSC) effectively. This MRI-TRUS fusion technology shows a strong correlation with radical prostatectomy results for cancer staging.

  • Clinically significant prostate cancer (CSC) defined as ISUP score ≥ 2.
  • Main Results:

    • Prostate cancer (PCa) and CSC detected in 70.4% and 47.7% of patients, respectively.
    • PIRADS score ≥ 4 was a significant risk factor for CSC (OR 5.0) and PIRADS 5 (OR 3.2).
    • High correlation (r=0.60) between TB and radical prostatectomy (RP) specimens for PCa detection; no significant difference in pathological outcomes.

    Conclusions:

    • MRI-TRUS fusion targeted biopsies (TB) using the 3D Navigo™ system are feasible and safe for detecting CSC.
    • The system demonstrates a positive correlation with radical prostatectomy (RP) findings for ISUP scores, enhancing diagnostic reliability.
