Biplanar Osteosynthesis for Severely Displaced Proximal-Third Clavicle Fracture: A Case Report.

A displaced proximal clavicle fracture was successfully treated with open reduction and double-plate fixation. This surgical approach led to full recovery and return to work within twelve months.

- At twelve months post-surgery, the patient achieved full range of motion.
- The patient successfully returned to work without limitations.
Implications:
- Biplanar osteosynthesis may represent an effective treatment strategy for displaced proximal-third clavicle fractures.
- This surgical technique can restore function and facilitate return to work in patients with these challenging fractures.
