High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) chest scans reveal characteristic findings of COVID-19 pneumonia in most patients with clinical suspicion but negative RT-PCR tests. These HRCT findings are crucial for diagnosing coronavirus disease when molecular tests are inconclusive.

- Radiological findings can aid in the timely diagnosis and management of COVID-19, especially in cases with discordant molecular test results.
