Summary

Comparing low-frequency [60 shocks per minute] and intermediate-frequency [90 shocks per minute] pediatric shock wave lithotripsy (SWL) showed similar success rates. Intermediate-frequency SWL significantly reduced anesthesia time in children with kidney stones.
