Plasma LDH: A specific biomarker for lung affectation in COVID-19?

Elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in COVID-19 patients is not linked to LDH-3 release from lungs. This study indicates LDH is not a specific biomarker for lung damage in COVID-19 patients.
