Vein cuffs significantly improved polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) graft patency and reduced juxta-anastomotic neointimal hyperplasia (JNIH) in canine carotid arteries. This technique shows promise for improving outcomes in peripheral arterial reconstruction.
