Antibiotic Safety and Effectiveness in Premature Infants With Complicated Intraabdominal Infections

Complicated intraabdominal infections (cIAIs) in premature infants are dangerous. This study found that ampicillin, gentamicin, and metronidazole, or clindamycin, and piperacillin-tazobactam plus gentamicin are safe and effective treatments.
