SARS-CoV-2 does not have a strong effect on the nasopharyngeal microbial composition

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection does not significantly alter the nasopharyngeal microbiome. Inter-personal variation, not the virus, was the main driver of microbial differences in this study of COVID-19 patients.
