Safely Shortening the Observation Time After CT-Guided Lung Procedures

Routine chest x-rays (CXRs) may not be necessary after CT-guided lung procedures. A study found a low incidence of delayed pneumothorax (PTX) in asymptomatic patients, suggesting shortened observation times are safe.
