Chorionic villus sampling and preeclampsia & eclampsia: coincidence or not?

Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) does not increase the risk of preeclampsia (PE) or eclampsia (E). Study findings show no significant difference in PE and E incidence between women who underwent CVS and those who did not.
