Differences in Intestinal Barrier Development between Intrauterine Growth Restricted and Normal Birth Weight Piglets

Intrauterine growth restricted (IUGR) piglets show delayed gut development and immune structure maturation in their first week. However, these intestinal changes in IUGR piglets recover by the second postnatal week.
