A New Approach to Quantifying Bioaccumulation of Elements in Biological Processes

The bioaccumulation factor (BAF) has limitations in small-scale studies. A new bioaccumulation index (BAI) is proposed, offering a more accurate assessment of element uptake and dilution in organisms, especially for entomoremediation research.
