Summary

Gel-like carbon dots (G-CDs) show enhanced photocatalytic activity for water pollutant degradation, outperforming many carbon dots and matching graphitic carbon nitride. Combining G-CDs with graphitic carbon nitride creates a synergistic effect, boosting efficiency and proving environmentally friendly.
