Observation:

A case report details a 22-year-old female with massive idiopathic gingival enlargement, obscuring anterior mandibular teeth.
The condition caused significant psychosocial distress and functional impairment.

Findings:

Histological examination confirmed idiopathic gingival enlargement.
Conventional gingivectomy was performed, followed by a maintenance phase with no recurrence.

Implications:

Surgical correction and meticulous oral hygiene are crucial for managing gingival enlargement.
Successful treatment improves aesthetics, oral function, and social acceptance, mitigating psychosocial stigma.
