Pressurized anterior chamber approach to in-the-bag posterior chamber lens insertion

A new approach to in-the-bag insertion is described. It combines elements of previously used techniques and includes a D-shaped capsulotomy, a posterior chamber intraocular lens with polypropylene loops and one control tip, a Sinskey, reverse Maltzman, or similar hook, and a lens loop injector (a simplified version of the Bailey lens shooter).
