Saliva samples collected with Salivettes® show higher sensitivity for detecting SARS-CoV-2, including in asymptomatic individuals, compared to traditional nasopharyngeal swabs (NPS). This standardized saliva test offers a more sensitive alternative for COVID-19 diagnosis.
