Summary

Short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache attacks with conjunctival injection and tearing (SUNCT) and short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with autonomic symptoms (SUNA) are rare headache disorders. Lamotrigine is effective for prevention, while IV lidocaine helps acute attacks, with surgery as an option for refractory cases.
