Laser for balloon uncrossable and undilatable chronic total occlusion interventions

Laser use in complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) for balloon uncrossable or undilatable chronic total occlusions (CTO) improves success rates. This analysis of CTO PCI cases shows laser is associated with higher technical and procedural success without increasing major adverse cardiac events.
