Summary

Pre-adaptation to light or dark significantly impacts pattern electroretinogram (P-ERG) sensitivity near threshold. However, this effect diminishes at higher luminance levels, suggesting P-ERG recording conditions are crucial for accurate cone vision assessment.

Background:
