Three-year mortality in cryptococcal meningitis: Hyperglycemia predict unfavorable outcome

Cryptococcal meningitis (CM) has a high 3-year mortality rate of 54%. Severe hyperglycemia on diagnosis is the only independent predictor of long-term mortality in CM patients.
