Ultrasound-guided parasternal injection in dogs: a cadaver study

Ultrasound-guided distal parasternal intercostal blocks using a low volume (0.05 mL kg-1) successfully stained intercostal nerves in all canine cadavers. This technique may offer an effective alternative for locoregional anesthesia.
