Postdeployment Respiratory Syndrome in Soldiers With Chronic Exertional Dyspnea

Soldiers deployed to Southwest Asia may develop a persistent postdeployment respiratory syndrome. This syndrome involves significant lung tissue changes, including airway remodeling and reduced capillary density, leading to chronic exertional dyspnea.
