The relationship between Gulf War Illness symptom severity and heart rate variability: A pilot study

Gulf War Illness (GWI) is linked to autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Reduced parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) activity and increased sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity correlate with higher GWI symptom severity in veterans.
