Summary

Hip fracture patients with coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) have significantly higher 120-day mortality rates. This highlights the need for strict infection control measures in hospitals to protect vulnerable patients from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) nosocomial infections.
