Probable correlation between chlamydial infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome

The problem of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome is not yet solved. Based on information published so far a correlation is supposed between Chlamydia trachomatis infection and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. The author supports his hypothesis by citing epidemiological, pathophysiological and pathological similarities.
