Background:

  • Balloon sinus dilation (BSD) is an emerging endoscopic sinus surgery technique.
  • It is increasingly utilized for treating chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS).

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of BSD in a 1-day surgery setting for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis without polyps.
  • To assess outcomes based on institutional experience.

Main Methods:

  • A study involving 9 patients with CRS without polyps.
  • Pre-operative assessment using Lund-Mackay CT scale and Lund-Kennedy endoscopic scale.
