Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the postoperative correction of refractive errors following cataract surgery.
  • To identify factors influencing visual outcomes and the need for refractive correction in Ghana.

  • A retrospective study analyzing medical records of 190 patients (213 eyes) aged 40-100 from 2013-2018.
  • Data included demographics, surgery type, intraocular lens power, biometry, and visual acuity outcomes.
  • Descriptive analysis and Chi-square tests were used to assess associations.
