Abstract:
Tissue expansion is a useful tool in reconstructive surgery. It permits the correction of large skin lesions by expanded cutaneous or fascio-cutaneous flaps, well vascularised and matching in colour, texture and thickness. We report our results in 12 children. There was a relatively high complication rate.
