Common Carotid Artery Diaphragm presenting as transient syncope

A rare carotid diaphragm, a condition causing artery stenosis, was found in the common carotid artery (CCA) of a 59-year-old woman experiencing transient syncopes. This is only the third reported case of a CCA diaphragm.
