Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Deflazacort
Deflazacort (DFZ) effectively inhibits IgE-mediated release of histamine and leukotriene C4 (LTC4) from basophils, showing comparable efficacy to dexamethasone and prednisolone. DFZ also demonstrated additive effects when combined with cyclosporin A.
