Spine Bone Texture Assessed by Trabecular Bone Score in Active and Controlled Acromegaly: A Prospective Study

Acromegaly patients show reduced bone quality, indicated by lower trabecular bone score (TBS), despite normal bone mineral density (BMD). Normalizing growth hormone levels quickly improves bone turnover markers.
