Exercise oscillatory ventilation (EOV) is uncommon in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients. EOV may indicate more severe HCM, linked to heart failure and reduced exercise capacity.

Conclusions:
- EOV is an infrequent finding in HCM.
- EOV may serve as a marker for increased disease severity in HCM, correlating with overt heart failure, left atrial enlargement, and diminished peak VO2.
