Relationship between the difference in electric pulp test values and the diagnostic type of pulpitis

The electric pulp test (EPT) difference did not reliably distinguish between reversible pulpitis (RP) and symptomatic irreversible pulpitis (SIRP) in teeth with caries. Further research is needed to improve diagnostic accuracy for pulpitis.
