Summary

Tissue oxygenation in septic acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) patients is closely linked to hemodynamic and respiratory factors. Oxygen consumption is primarily determined by oxygen delivery and oxygen extraction ratio, as per the Fick equation.
