Summary

Argon laser trabeculoplasty (ALT) effectively lowered intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma patients unresponsive to medication. One-quadrant ALT demonstrated comparable efficacy to standard 180-degree ALT with fewer complications.

Background:
