Abstract:
Single-leaflet detachment of the MitraClip is a mechanism of early failure, but management is challenging and often requires surgical repair. This case report describes a novel transcatheter approach to repairing severe mitral regurgitation after MitraClip single-leaflet detachment by placement of an additional clip and an Amplatzer vascular plug.
