Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate midfacial soft tissue changes following L-shaped reduction malarplasty.
  • To assess the effect of the surgery on the nasolabial fold angle and soft tissue thickness.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective observational study of 30 patients undergoing L-shaped reduction malarplasty.
  • Preoperative and postoperative assessment using photographs, 3D CT scans, and the Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale.
