Effect of methylphenidate as a dopaminergic agent on myopia: Pilot study

Methylphenidate (MPH) treatment for ADHD did not significantly alter refractive error or axial length in children over 12 months. However, MPH may potentially slow myopia progression, as indicated by a lack of change compared to a control group experiencing significant myopic shifts.
