[Infectious-toxic shock in peritonitis (pathogenetic mechanisms and main methods of treatment)]

Based on results of examinations and treatment of 200 patients with infective-toxic shock complicating the course of various forms of peritonitis the authors discuss the leading links of pathogenesis of this kind of shock, present differential diagnostic criteria of its phases. The factorial analysis was used to establish the interrelation of different links of pathogenesis and prognostic value of functional parameters. A complex program of surgical treatment and intensive therapy of patients has been made from the pathogenetic standpoint.
