This case study highlights two innovative skin replacement technologies used to treat a pediatric patient with an extensive 86% surface area flame burn, enabling survival. The combination of Novosorb™ Biodegradable Temporizing Matrix and Self-Assembled Skin Substitute (SASS) proved life-saving.
